5teen

I SAW 9 TODAY
And it made me very upset.
I won't tell you why because you might go see it and I'll ruin it for you.
I don't want to do that :
Anways, today was church. Nikki and I sat in the balcony today. Nothing special. We drew pictures of eachother. It was pretty funny because she made me have a huge nose, and I made her look French. You're jealous, understandable.
After church we asked if we could go to the movies, my mom said no. She had 'errands' to run. I didn't understand why we still couldn't go. She isn't the only one in the house that can drive. It was whatever though. We dropped the subject.
Then we went out to eat, and afterwards I tried again.
"So can we go to the movies?" I slightly begged.
She shook her head slowly, "No I don't think so.."
I looked at Nikki, of course. "Okay." I muttered while looking out the window.
Then my mom yawned, "I don't think I'm going to run those errands today. I might do them tomorrow."
I looked at Nikki and then my dad, was she really saying this? Right after she told us that we can't go the movies she says that she isn't going to do those errands. What is her deal?! She can't make up her mind. She's a pin-ball, that's what my dad called her.
I gave her a 'are you serious' look, "So, you aren't going out?" I asked her.
She shook her head, "Yeah." she replied.
"So we can go to the movies?" I tried again.
She sighed, "Nooo, I don't think so." she turned to look at my dad. It was like she was saying 'back me up or you're sleeping on the couch'.
He looked at us through the rear view mirror, laughing slightly.
Pin-Ball wasn't going to let us go, and it was final.
Nikki and I surrendered silently, but we knew it wasn't over.
Once we got home, Nikki and I began to talk.
"I bet right when I get out of this dress and comfy in my bed she will pop her little Asian head in and say 'want to go to the movies?' " I said while changing out of my church dress.
Nikki laughed, "Oh I know. She does that all the time." she sat on my bed.
"Yeah!" I spat.
"Like that one time when we wanted to go to the movies," she paused, "and I bet she will come right when they stop selling matinees."
I nodded my agreement and sat down on my bed beside her.
We slowly began to drift to sleep, and right when I was falling asleep my mom waltzs in...
"Do yall still want to go to the movies?" she asks.
I sit up slowly and look at Nikki, "Yeah. Sure." I state clearly. I give Nikki a look of knowing.
Called it.
I guess you could call that the Daily Mom Story.
No person of the day. I'm done with that.
